He was very professional and informative. The price was reasonable.”

“I'm happy to give a 5 star review to Max, our plumber, who fixed our leaky toilet with a new wax ring and lots of additional hard work because it didn't fit properly. He spent time doing what had to be done and we are grateful for his amazing expertise! He also has a great personality and both my husband and I just enjoyed having him around. We are experiencing absolutely NO problems with the toilet now and want to make sure everyone knows about Ernie's best kept secret: Max!”

“UPDATE: I really appreciate Ernie’s response to my review. Shortly after I posted it, his office contacted me and is processing a full refund of the $189 service charge. Ernie took responsibility for what happened, explained that the technician is recently hired and will be receiving additional training on tankless water heaters, and apologized for our experience. We have trusted Ernie’s for many years, and I truly appreciate how quickly he addressed my concerns and made things right. Thank you, Ernie. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - We have used Ernie’s Plumbing for years and always had great experiences when Craig was with the company. Unfortunately, since Craig is no longer there, things do not seem to be the same. Our 6-year-old Noritz tankless water heater was giving us a Code 12. The technician who came out did not seem familiar with our Noritz unit and was not equipped with everything he needed to properly diagnose or service it. He spent time on the phone with Noritz technical support and charged us $189 for the diagnostic visit, but ultimately did not determine what was actually causing the problem. We were then quoted $975 to service the water heater, including removing and cleaning the burner and fan and flushing the system. We were told the $189 diagnostic fee would be applied toward that amount, leaving us another $786 to pay. There was still no assurance that this service would actually correct the Code 12, and the possibility of replacing the unit for around $5,000 was also discussed. The technician scheduled a time to return and perform the $975 service. After thinking about it, my husband called Ernie’s to cancel because we had decided to get a second opinion. Surprisingly, he was told we weren’t even on their schedule. That only added to our concerns about the experience. Thankfully, getting a second opinion was the right decision. The second plumber came prepared and spent about three hours systematically troubleshooting the heater while working directly with Noritz technical support, eventually escalating the call to a senior Noritz technician. He determined that debris in a line was causing the problem. He used compressed air to clear it, and our water heater immediately began working properly. No parts were needed, no $975 service was needed, and we certainly did not need a new $5,000 water heater. Our total bill for approximately three hours of troubleshooting and the repair was $375. The second plumber also told us that if we wanted to have the unit fully serviced at a later date, he would charge approximately $350, which made the $975 quote from Ernie’s even more concerning. I hate leaving this review because Ernie’s was a company we trusted and used for years. But between a technician who did not appear equipped or experienced with our Noritz unit, paying $189 without getting a diagnosis, being quoted $975 for a service that may or may not have fixed the problem, and then finding out the follow-up appointment apparently wasn’t even on the schedule, this was not the level of service we had come to expect from Ernie’s when Craig was there. I am very thankful we got a second opinion.”

“We had a slab leak. It was some bad news to be sure, but I suppose it’s just one of the “joys” of home ownership. Ryan came to our house and did a great job. He was thorough and thoughtful with the investigation required to figure out what needed to be repaired. When he identified the problem, he started that same day and worked late into the evening to get it repaired (so we didn’t have to go without water.) He was professional and effective. Even though it was an expensive repair, we are grateful for Ryan’s expertise and grateful it’s repaired.”

“I have been using Ernie’s Plumbing Service for the past 13 years, and they have never disappointed me! They are always professional, reliable, and reasonably priced. Greg recently came out to look at an issue with my outside water faucet. He was upfront about what was going on, explained the issue clearly, and provided the cost upfront so there were no surprises. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I understood everything. After 13 years of great service, I highly recommend Ernie’s Plumbing Service. They truly provide excellent customer service and quality work!”
